Color !

Bolder colors are showing up more and more in design magazines lately. Crisp bright beautiful colors are pushing up the WOW factor. I myself love them. Nothing says look at me more then these rooms! Have you used a bold color in your home??

Pretty Bathrooms

Its amazing how far bathrooms have come. I've seen some really beautiful designs. I love both these sinks and they couldn't be more different. The tiles in the middle were shown to me by my bud Jen. Love them, so creative!!!

Stay Outside Longer

For the psst 2 days when I go out onto my screened porch with my morning coffee, I've felt the first nip of fall in the air. Rather strange because this time of year where I live, its still usually very hot. I'm sure we will still have some very hot days, but it looks like summer 08 is winding down fast. So get outside people! I can't say it enough!

Is Orange the IT Color for Fall?

I've been seeing orange everywhere these days. Seems like it has been picked as the "it" color for fall. I like it very much. Orange is fall, leaves pumpkins etc.
I think the above pictures add just the right amount of orange without going overboard. Do any colors remind you of a particular season? (All pictures from the Pottery Barn website).

Sometimes Small Spaces Are Just Cute!

I don't know why, but sometimes I just love looking at small spaces. Something comforting from childhood? I dunno. Maybe its all the years playing with my doll houses. I never have lived in a very large home, so maybe that has something to do with it. I guess its like puppies and kids. They are adorable when they are small.

The Art of the Mix

Some people just know how to mix things up. I'd like to think I can, but I often see pictures that make me think how clever. Thats why I like magzines and the internet. Its so inspiring to see how creative people can get. In a small space you really have to be creative!
