She was born on July 20, 1988  in Sandy, Utah. Julianne Hough is most widely known for being a two-time winner of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. She earned a Creative Arts Primetime Emmy nomination in 2007 for choreography. ABC's 20/20 called her one of the "very best dancers on the planet."

Hough'sbrother, Derek, is also on Dancing with the Stars and is a three-time winner himself. Hough was signed to Mercury Nashville Records in December 2007. Her self-titled debut album was released May 20, 2008, debuting at No.1 on the Billboard Country Album chart and No.3 on the Billboard 200. It sold 67,000 copies its first week, and has sold over 320,000 total copies. On October 12, 2008, she released a holiday album, Sounds of the Season:The Julianne Hough Holiday Collection, which as of January5,2009, had sold 157,000copies.

Julianne Hough grew up the last of five children in a Latter-day Saint (Mormon) family in Sandy,Utah, a suburb of SaltLakeCity. Her parents are Mari Anne and Bruce Robert Hough, who was twice chairman of the Utah RepublicanParty. Her brother,DerekHough, is also a professional dancer. She also has three older sisters, Sharee, Marabeth, and Katherine.All four of Hough's grandparents were dancers, and her parents met while on a ballroom dancing team in college,in Idaho.

Her formal training began at the Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in Orem, Utah, where she danced with Josh Murillo, among others, in Latin Ballroom; Hough began dancing competitively at nine. Hough's parents sent her and brotherDerek to London a year later to live and study with their coaches, Corky and Shirley Ballas, and to spare them the strife of divorce. TheBallases helped tutor the twoHough children alongside their own son, Mark, schooling them at the Italia Conti Academy. They received training in song, theatre, gymnastics and many forms of dance, including jazz, ballet, and tap.

Thethree children formed theirown pop music trio 2B1G when Hough was twelve, performed at dance competitions in the UKand the U.S., and showcased in a UK television show. At fifteen, Julianne Hough became the youngest dancer, and only American, to win both JuniorWorld LatinChampion and InternationalLatin YouthChampion at the BlackpoolDanceFestival. After five years in London, Hough returned to the U.S., first living with her mother for a year and attending LasVegas Academy.

The Twelfth Season of Dancing With The Stars without Derek Hough and Julianne Hough

This is the twelfth season of Dancing With The Stars and all the front line regulars are back.

Sitting at the judges table are the three judges who have been called everything from The Three Stooges to The Clueless Trio From Theatrical Town.

In order of age the three judges are; Len "The Crotchety Grouch" Goodman, who hails from merry olde England. Bruno "The Gaytalian" Tonioli who pranced in from Italia. And "The Princess of The Philippines" herself Carrie Ann Inaba.

But as far as the professional dancers go, two very noticeable favorites who are missing are Derek "The Dancing Dude" Hough who along with Jennifer Grey won last year's coveted Mirror Ball Trophy, and his little sister, Julianne "Las Legs" Hough, the gorgeously sexy girlfriend of the lucky-as-hell host of American Idol Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest.

Left Coast Mirror Magazine reported that Derek took the year off so that he could spend as much time as he possibly could with his stunningly sensuous British babe of a honey, Cheryl Cole, or Chezza as her very good friend Simon "The Sultan of Sarcasm" calls her.

And Julianne decided to pass up the DWTS gig up this year so that she can spend time with her future husband "Peaches" Seacrest at his Hollywood Hills home Casa Cha Cha Cha which he now shares with Miss Jolly Julie, as he refers to her in bed.

US dancer Derek Hough “partied till dawn” with Cheryl Cole's brother Garry Tweedy on a recent night out.

Hough 25, took the X Factor judge’s 23-year-old brother to the Moon Nightclub at the Palms Hotel, in Las Vegas, where they partied until the early hours.

An onlooker told UK newspaper, the Sunday Mirror: 'There was a permanent queue trying to get alongside the boys. The girls had tiny dresses on and knew what they were doing – the lads seemed like they loved every minute.

'They both partied till dawn, proper Vegas style, and looked like they were having the time of their life, but kept their hands to themselves.'

It is claimed the pair have become good friends since the Girls Aloud star has been spending more time in LA.
